Bear QuestsLovers Quest and Bear and the Tiger Lovers Quest One cool summer's night, two lovers lay at rest amidst the bright Mythic blossoms. As the stars glimmered and shined upon them, the couple hugged close within each other's arms. Peaceful serenity was then shattered, a storm began to approach. Frowning at the misfortune, the young warrior and poet stood to find shelter from the rain. Seeking out someplace to wait, a loud crash of thunder struck before them. Unknown to those fleeing for shelter around them, the thunder paused in the air, writing as a fiery white snake. It grinned at the bewildered lovers maliciously, weaving and shimmering in the air. Stiffened with both fear and wonder, the two watched the godly beast writhe and sway. The young girl reached out, and the snake coaxingly smiled. Being told to touch, without her realizing, being forced to reach without her mind's consent, the poet stretched out her hand. The snake squinted its fiery eyes at her, the lashed out, gripping her hand tightly. The incredible pain of the fire wrapped around her arm tore her away from the hypnotic state. Crying out for her Love to save her, she knew it was hopeless... desperately trying to release the healing energy from her charred, dying hands, she was then engulfed by the deceitful snake. Blinking, the young warrior awoke from the trance, desperately crying for her to return. As he gazed at the spot where she lay, only fragments of a broken rose he'd given her remained. Bring forth a Fine snake meat, to comfort the warrior's
mind in knowing that one powerful snake may be gone, if not the one whom
murdered his wife.. NOTE: Anyone caught buying the items in question will lose double the point value of that portion of the quest.
