Buy Kindred talismans,
we dont want you to be locked out.
We have a lot of
Ancestors in form of Bears walking the main hall,
dont heal them, cast asv or hit them. Leave them alone and they might
just come up and stand beside you for a bit once in a while.
Summon: Friends,
Fiancee, family but make sure to ask an Elder for permision first and
stay with them the whole time.
Buy a Clan helmet,
from Cleap for 10.000 coins.
To
speak on the Clan chat use: Shift F to turn it on or off, and then whisper
to !
Keep the Clan chat
and Bear board free from arguments.
Hit B and you will
now find the Bear board. This is a good place to write storys and poems.
Write thoughts and opinion but keep it constructive and well mannered.
Try and delete your own posts after a couple of days

We host Clan hunts
to gain tribute points, tribute points are used to buy good stuff for
the Hall, NPC's, New rooms,etc. So try and attend them.
Donations, you
can donate just about anything, there is a list below under donating on
what exactly you can donate and the Clan points you will recieve. Give
your donations too any Bear Clan Elder.

going on with Events and Quests, ask The Bear Event Elders.
Bear Arena, good
place to play and have fun in. Don't start killing someone over and over
and ask first that way you avoid starting arguments within the Clan.

If you have a secondary
character that person is welcome into Hall. Just dont spam anyone to summon
you in. And ALWAYS keep your Bear Characters name in your profile when
using any NPC. If you want to keep your other characters secret and don't
want to place your bear characters name into your profile then please
don't use the Bear hall NPC's.

& Gaining Clan and Kingdom Points

Your probably wondering how to increase your rank from Bear Cub to something else well here's a brief explanation. Firstly if you look on the Bear board, the latest clan roster will appear something like this, "Roster A-T 03-03-02" Open that, this is what you will see:

Ok the first bit after your name is your current bear rank, next to follow
is your Clan points (Cp's), after that are your Kingdom points (Kp's)
and lastly your activity status in the clan (A=active).
How to gain Clan points?
You get clan points everytime you donate something to the clan (eg tit
glove has a Cp value of 500), when you complete a clan quest or if you
attend a clan hunt/event.
How to gain Kingdom points?
These are harder to get, you recieve 1 for every clan hunt/event/quest(part
of a quest) you complete.
How to stay Active?
Simply attend 1 clan hunt/event a month or donate 1 amber/1000 coins a
month and you will remain active within the clan, those who don't remain
active will lose Clan points and Kingdom points.
Ranking up?
If you read the clan ranks post you'll notice each rank has a 2 numbers
beside it:
Grizzly 500/3
this means before you can earn the title of Grizzly you must have earned
at least 500 clan points and 3 kingdom points.
Advantages of being a higher rank?
As you increase in rank, items that you can buy from the clan bank will
be at a higher discount rate eg.
electra= base value 25k if you were rank grizzly would only cost you 20k
or at Dedicated bear status 10k.

Bear Hunts
Clan hunts are at the same every week. They are normally
in mantis 1, but depending on the host and the insight of
those who arrive, that may change. The only exception is
the Saturday hunt, which is for 99 Bears only and usually in
mantis 2/3 or orge 2/3.

Clan
hunts tend to run for roughly one hour. (In the past, we have run a two
hour clan hunt schedule, and this has proven pretty exhausting both on
attendees, and hunt hosts.) An Elder should be in attendance at all times,
as should a Bear poet.
All hunts will be adjusted either in grouping, or location
to hunt based on lowest level member wishing to attend.
Since we started running the choice hunts, we've been
to Wilderness Lobsters, Vale Skeletons, mantis 1-3, Hamgyong Ogres 1-3,
Northern Ogres, Arctic Ogres, the Iron Labyrinth and even the Kugnae Fox
Cave.
Saturday hunts; see these as a 'bonus' hunt if you will,
for reaching that final insight! These are not intended to be
elitist in any way, just a chance for 99th insight Bears to stretch their
legs some more. It has been a tradition of the clan for a number of years
(not just Yuri, but rl years) that there is a 99th insight only hunt.
"Can I come if I'm X insight?" is a more common question these
days. If X isn't 99th, then, sorry, but no.
Random hunts will also be held whenever a host feels up to it and there are enough people interested in attending..
Event
hunts! Yes, sometimes these happen, although the more recent events in
our kingdoms haven't been conducive to these. Some Bears may recall the
clan hunt of Yuri 45 into the Wind Temple, where we returned with many
50+ hand items and 95+ weapons. Be on the lookout for these as they can
be somewhat unplanned!
Guests
on hunts;
(i) Spouses/Blood-kin of Bears are always
welcome.
(ii) If you ask in advance, guests may come along.
Guests should _not_ pick up the item drops, which are the property of
the clan as soon as we get them
Guest rogues are discouraged, partially due to being able to swipe drops up quickly, partially due to annoying poets with ambush
Final
point, and because this has come up more often recently, bringing an alt.
(ie, another character of yours, who is not a Bear);
The only real reason this may occur is if we suddenly find ourselves with no Bear poets present, and none on their way to join us. In this case, a poet may be allowed. Do we need a mage to hunt with us? Unless they are covered by the guest section above, NO. Do we need a rogue with us? Same applies. I know a number have asked primarily to 'leech' their non-Bear, and this will cease now.
All
Bears who stay for 30 minutes or more of the hunt, are eligable for clan
points for their work. The points awarded are based on what we get as
drops, and how many are present. Expect it to vary between 120/1 (120
clan points + 1 event point) and the maximum of 250/1.
A bonus of 20/0 points are awarded to the hunt 'assistant' for each and every hunt; this is given as the assistant is the one in charge of gathering all the drops from the hunt, and this is quite tiring work!
Note, if you do not stay for 30 minutes (often due to leaving for a carnage), you are not eligable for points. It's all about balancing your priorities.
Foxy Bears
The Bears have a wonderful fox hunt team called the" Foxy Bears"
(FB). To join please n-mail ?????. As a point of historic refrence the
Foxy bears was orginally thought up by Careforgot.
WHEN The fox hunts are four (4) times a week

Sundays 9am PST/12 PM EST
Wednesdays 6PM PST/9PM EST
Thursdays 10PM PST/Friday 1AM EST
Saturdays 5PM PST/8PM EST
We need 6 people to attend each hunt. As a team member, you must attend
2 events of the team per 2 weeks (See practices below). Nmail ???? if
you can attend a hunt the day before it is scheduled, six first nmails
are the team for that hunt. The team for each hunt will be posted on the
Bear Board as it forms.
PRACTICES We will hold 1 practice/2-weeks in the Bear arena. These count
as participation and are important in the development of our strategies
and shared knowledge of the different fox hunt arenas.
UNIFORMS You are required to wear the Foxy Bears uniform to attend. This
shows great spirit and teamwork for the Bears. The current uniform is
a Spring Armor Dress/Spring Armor in black, a Bear helm/helmet and a Giasomo
stick, our Riding crop, no hand items are to be worn.. Once you join the
team, you will be given information on the Giasomo stick.
CAPTAIN
At each hunt, we will assign a captain. The rest of the team is not there
to order the captain but rather to help the captain. Our goal as the team
is to capture the other team's fox/captain, not to order the captain.
Captain should tell the team of his/her route so we can be out of the
way as much as possible. Assigned Captain should nmail Naphz the report
after each hunt if he is not attending.
CAPTAIN
REPORT: Please nmail this report to ???? after each hunt if he is not
in attendance: Names of attendees, Arenas used, Win/Lost, Assigned captain.
Any problems with replacements from those who signed up, All in uniform?,
Comments, etc.
POINTS
You will be given Clan points for attending your 2 events per 2 weeks.
This can be either 2 fox hunts, 2 practices or 1 fox hunt and 1 practice.
If you cannot attend a hunt for which you have signed up, you must find
a replacement. Only those attending will receive points. However, you
will loose points if you do not meet your minimum requirement or do not
find a replacement.
TEAM
ROAR Our team roar is of course the Bears trademark. Use it with pride
during the hunts.
FUN
This team has been created so we can all have some fun amongst our brothers
and sisters. So get your riding crop and RRRRoooooAAArrrrr.

Foxy Bear Elder

Welcome
to this, the introductory text to the Bear Clan Militia!
As you may know, the Bear Clan did not have an officially organised Militia
for some time - this has recently changed, as the Bear Militia has started
to take form!
But, I hear you cry.. what does a clan Militia actually do ?!
There will be a wide range of events and quests and the ilk, to give every Militia member the chance to get to grips with new things.
Expect;
raw material gathering sessions, Militia only hunts, Militia combat and
healing training in our under-used Bear Arena and Militia events.. expect
also for this to not take up too much of your time, should you sign up
for the Militia.
Militia
sessions are short, sharp and focussed, lasting roughly 30 minutes (depending
on the activity in question). What I do expect is that those who sign
up do their best to attend whenever possible; going to Mythic to hunt
isn't an excuse, the Militia work, and working for the good of the Bear
Clan should take precidence. Militia Sessions are currently held at;

What
can you expect from this in return though? Well, beyond knowing you've
helped gather items for the clan in the form of Militia hunts, and item
gathering sessions, you'll hopefully learn something here and there about
fighting techniques.. about the history of our lands, and of Kugnae..Militia
members will help stand guard for the important clan Tribunal sessions
at the palace.. and above all, yes, clan points will be available for
those who work hard within the Militia.
